Coffee Story
The Espírito Santo Mountains offer a very different image of Brazilian coffee.
Here, coffee grows on steep slopes where mechanization is nearly impossible and harvesting is done entirely by hand. The terrain naturally limits large scale production and has preserved a structure based on small, family run farms.
Farmers Coffee is the shared project of four young producers who cultivate their own land in this mountain region. Their work is closely connected to the territory, its humid and living soils, its forest shade, and its balanced climate.
Warm and humid summers support healthy plant growth, while cooler and drier winters allow the cherries to ripen slowly and evenly. This rhythm of seasons, combined with altitude and careful hand selection, contributes to clarity and complexity in the cup.
The region lies within the Atlantic Forest biome, one of the most biodiverse ecosystems in the world. Coffee trees grow alongside shade vegetation that protects the plants from intense sun and helps maintain soil vitality. In such a sensitive and threatened environment, farming requires responsibility as much as skill.
For Farmers Coffee, quality cannot be separated from stewardship of the land. Soil health, biodiversity, and long term balance are central to their agricultural approach. Production is not driven by scale, but by care.
This is not conventional Brazilian coffee. It is mountain grown, handpicked, and rooted in a model that places regeneration and respect for the territory before volume.
